Barnes Bullets is in Utah, Remington's main ammo plant is in Arkansas, Remington Arms Corporate Headquarters is in Madison, North Carolina, the newest firearms facility is in Alabama. New York is clearly part of the picture, but not nearly all of it.

Randy, is it safe to assume that the Huntsville manufacturing facility would require expansion to absorb the NY facility`s load? That might be doable.

It isn't doable. It is mostly empty right now. Actually, nothing is doable today, as this is court-controlled.

While I don't like making predictions and only the current owners have any decision-making ability, I speculate Remington will go to auction and the ammo and firearms entities will be sold separately.

As to what happens going forward, that will all be up to the new owners. Remington Ammo is an easy sell.

This is a general post that is not directed at any particular person that might have a post near this one.
This is not to Politics section, take your political ramblings there.
This is not the Gun Control section, take those discussions there.
No place on Shotgun World is the Rude and Name Calling section,
Those that do that crap get posting vacations.
Those that post to stir the crap also get posting vacations.

Topic is pretty well covered, so It gets a lock which is assisted by the several postings that were removed.
