well after some discussion and debate here on this discussion board i decided to go ahead and become a V3 owner. Found a slamming deal online for a shade over $650. The local sporting goods priced matched it plus i opened up a credit card with them and got another $75 off and i believe Remington has rebates right now....oh and a free T-Shirt. 8) 8) 8) 8)

cant wait to hit the range with it next week!!

Even though it`s not dirty, do it and yourself a favor and give it wipe down inside and out and a LIGHT lube before you shoot it the first time, particularly in the receiver along the rails where the bolt slides. I`ll be surprised if you don`t like your V3 very much. They have numerous fans on SW, of which I`m certainly one.

They are fine guns, perhaps the best at their price point, although the A300 Outlander has it`s proponents as well. I certainly have enjoyed my V3. We`re just going to have to see what the term " collapse" might or might not mean for Remington. In the right hands I think there`s value still in the name and at least a couple of their product divisions.
