Post subject:  Advice on finding the Correct Slug Barrel for LW Magnum 870

I have a 1995 Remington Model LW870 Magnum .20 Ga. 3" chamber Shotgun and I am looking for information on what the correct slug barrel would be for this shotgun.

I had read somewhere ,a long time ago that the receiver was different on this Light Weight Magnum .20 Gauge model and could not accept a regular .20 gauge, 3" magnum Slug Barrel.
Also,
There are several Rem 870 LW .20 gauge slug barrels on the Barrel Exchange website but they are all for 2 3/4" chambers.

Did Remington make an 870 LW .20 Ga (3 inch) slug Barrel for this shotgun model?
Or do I have to settle for the 2 3/4 " Chambered barrel?
If any of you Remington 870 Model history buffs can help out with this information I seek. I will be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.. :s .

The only barrels that won't fit are the Special Field barrels or the 1970s, 1980s Standard weight barrels.
Deer barrel, catalog #4561, 20 gauge 20" fully rifled cantilever scope mount. 20" fixed IMP CYL choke, catalog#4578. Those are just from the 1995 catalog.
From a 2014 price list -
BBL 20/20 FR RS EXP MATTE (3" ) $217.00
BBL 20/20 IC RS WINGMASTER BL (FIXED I/C NO CHOKE TUBE) $183.34
Midway lists them but they are all on backorder.
In my opinion a 2-3/4" chamber is all you need for slugs.
