How much is the ms. Ducks unlimited edition remington 870 32 inch full choke barrel worth now? Not the whole gun, just the 12 ga barrel.

Same as any other 870 barrel I’d guess. Did that edition have any special markings?

Not on the barrel.

The only 32 inch Remington 870 full choke barrel that they made is on the Mississippi ducks unlimited 870.

Don’t think so...... I’ve got 32 and 34” fulls.

Anyway, not sure if you’re buying or selling, but it’s an 870 barrel at the end of the day.

Ok. But I think the value would be the same as any other barrel in whatever condition.....what is it you’re interested in? Buying it selling?

Is it a target or field barrel? Condition? Any pics would help.

You can look at Corsons (sp?) barrels, and the barrel exchange to get an idea what similar condition barrels are going for.

Bridgebuilder,

The 3" chambered 32" 1983 Mississippi Flyway Ducks Unlimited barrel is the only Remington Production 870 barrel that Remington produced in 32" length. Same with the 1982 1100 Atlantic Flyway Magnum.

They had a 2 and 3/4" 34" Duck/Goose barrel for the 870 but that's it.

I say it this way so that hopefully someone can show proof otherwise!

That being said I have seen 1100 magnum barrels go for as much as $450, barrel only.

Your barrel will bring a Premium if marketed to the correct audience, which doesn't appear to be present here.

The last whole gun in the box I saw on Gunbroker sold for over $1,000.

Hope this helps, Will

I agree, sounds like a great barrel, but as I said earlier, I have a 32” 2&34”, and a 34”, both target configured.

Sounds like the OP has a great barrel he shouldn’t have trouble selling, but there were a LOT of things that came out of Ilion over the many years. Speaking in absolutes isn’t always a great idea. Case in point, the two I own.....

I believe the "Mississippi" was the only cataloged 32" Wingmaster barrel. They announced plans for I think 4,000 units, but they did not sell all that well it appears. I guess they just stuck the leftover barrels on regular Wingmasters. I know they did that with the 1100 barrels.

Thanks Rooster and I agree Remington could do anything it wanted.

I looked for years and never found evidence that they catalogued one, however a 34" barrel can easily become a 32" barrel.

My left handed friend made two from Hastings 34" barrels for his LH Mag 1100 and LH Mag 870.

Good Luck to all and I know the Stock 32" Magnum barrels pattern extremely well and crush targets. I have both the 870 and 1100 Magnums on hunting guns and Both DU Guns NIB.

Will
