A saddle mount for an older 1100 20 ga built on a 12 ga frame will not work on a LT 20 ga 1100. Measure the width of the receiver.
An 1187 with a rifled barrel is made to shoot sabots. You can shoot cheaper rifled slugs but they were not designed for a rifled barrel.

1) will this work - if you put spacers under the mount on both sides and then do not overtighten. Will look like crap, but will work. 2) any experience with this mount, it seems solid - put tape under it on both sides if you do not want to mess up your bluing. 3) I have a rifled barrel for my 1187, do I have to use special slugs ? It is designed to be used sabot slugs. Thank you
