I’d like a Limbsaver pad added to my LT20
Anyone around Syracuse that can do it reasonable ?
Don’t want the stock cut but none of the standard pads seem like a perfect fit

Go to Limbsaver website or get their phone # and call them. They have a direct screw on that will fit perfectly with no alteration...1cas
PS: it will affect your LOP over the plastic butt plate....1cas

Have you shot the gun? I have shot over 300 shells in a day out of a 1100 LT-20 gauge with nothing more than a T shirt on. No bruises, no sore shoulder. I see no reason to put a recoil pad on the gun. One of the softer shooting guns around.

Isn't yours a slug gun? How many slugs you planning to shoot in a day? If you feel it must have a recoil pad, you can buy a slip on pad.

Almost any real gunshop -- the kind that sells guns with wooden stocks and blued finishes -- should have "a guy." Call around. It will probably cost you $40 + the cost of the pad. As somebody who grinds their own pads, I can tell you it's worth the money to have a professional do it.

If you find any pad that is a perfect fit for a Remington wood buttstock, run, not walk but run, to the nearest lottery ticket sales office.

It would seem like buying a pad for an 1100 should be like finding lugnuts for a Chevrolet, but for some reason it's not.

As was noted, it will tweak the LOP somewhat, and may alter some other characteristics of the mount. I'm a fan of test driving with a slip-on pad before committing to a permanent one. As was noted, any shop that sells guns with wood (especially if it smells like Hoppes) should be able to handle fitting a pad. Around here my LGS charges $40 in addition to the pad, or BYO.

We have 3 LT-20 shotguns in our family. Only the Magnum model came from the factory with a recoil pad. Perhaps the Remington LT-20 Magnum pad will work for you??

It’s been my experience that everyone of these stocks are a different side even on the same model

Try Mark Deprez. He is located in Conesus lake area. His website is www.mdstocks.com. He does excellent work. It’s worth the drive. Mike
