Saddle mount or drill

The saddle mounts look like they are made for a 12 and use spacers for a 20
I don't need rifle type long range accuracy
Am I better drilling the receiver ?
If so, anyone near Syracuse Ny or Rochester that would do a great job ?
Rough idea on cost ?

IME, scope base screws will have issues with recoil if a long (5" min) one-piece rail with 4-5 screws installed with Loctite on the threads isn't used

Don't ask me how I know this..... {F*

Most real gunsmiths, not a parts-changer, can usually D/T for about $20 (+/-) per hole.
