AKA Roundhill, ever hired back those 200 employees at Remington? I know it was up in the air, what with the union and all.

Not sure, I've heard it was broken up and shutdown for good. Another member here on this forum sent me a copy of this saying it was a response from Remington in response to a question he had sent them. Not sure what this may mean for existing Remington firearms and parts though. Thank you for contacting RemArms, LLC, RemArms, LLC. is a newly formed entity that acquired the Remington firearms division from Remington Outdoors Company. We are working diligently to obtain all necessary regulatory licenses and become operational. RemArms will be producing Remington branded firearms soon at the historic Ilion, NY facility where Remington has been produced for more than 200 years. We expect to have our website, http://www.remarms.com. online very soon and production of legacy Remington firearms is on track to begin in early 2021. To that end, the existing supply of parts for Remington firearms is currently limited to inventory already in the marketplace. Please contact retailers that specialize in gun parts for your needs. As RemArms ramps up production of Remington firearms, availability of parts for firearms that are produced by RemArms LLC is expected to improve. Thank you for your understanding and support of Remington firearms, America's oldest gunmaker since 1816."

Last I read was they were hoping for a feb 15 approval of their license, but it may be done.
They supposedly sent offers to 200 former employees for at will positions, effectively cutting out the union.
But who knows, it could all be smoke.

Wellll..... Who knows? Looks like there MAY be some activity? Sodakbearfan may be correct though. I personally kind of felt that IF there was anything to come of it it would probably happen during the first calendar quarter.

Not unless they adopt the Italian marketing strategy.

If and that’s a huge IF, they get things going again, I predict that the operation will be very very small!

https://www.wktv.com/content/news/Round ... 53701.htmlOriginally, Richmond Italia claimed they would be open in a matter of weeks. They "forgot" they might actually need a firearms manufacturing license to make firearms, something they have never done before. That was back in October, about three months ago. They were "deep in negotiations with the state back then. Apparently, it is still just as deep.

Received an email from CDNN today with 20 gage 11-87 receivers for sale. My wag is all parts were sold off prior to the bankruptcy, and there is nothing left in Ilion to assemble.
Sourcing vendors and establishing a supply chain would be a big project. I wonder if RemArms has even established a purchasing department yet?
