I my quest to find a still board gun to eather build or buy i have found a 1100 that has gold inlay and a 34 inch barrel by Remington that says 2 3/4 shells Trap/only. No choke tube, measured. 675. It has a white front site and a mid bead, also a stepped rib.
Have not shot it yet but i have her cleaned and ready.
Where might this gun be priced in todays market?

I know without pictures this is a pig in a poke. It cleaned up with minimal putting and the forearm wood is cracked but for $800.00 in todays marketplace i am feeling ok with it especially if she shoots tight.

If it measures .675 it probably has been sleeved.

I was handed a digital micrometer when i picked up the gun and i saw .675 .674 and .676 . When i use a maganifier on the end of the barrel it does have appearance of a sleeve.
Kinda unsure how to proceed now. Or i just found what i was looking for.

.675 is going to be extra full. About turkey choke full.

Thus the "trap only" designation.

I doubt very much that .675 is the factory choke diameter in that trap barrel. Like papillonkirby said it has probably been sleeved.

Might be a screw in choke tube.

A picture of the muzzle end might be helpful.

I had no idea Remington put 34" barrels on 1100s.
