This is my first post on the forum just testing the waters. :)

I found a used Beretta 693 on a used gun sale site in Canada so i picked it up I figured I deserved a nice gun to customize. I believe that you should love your gun and make it yours even if it hurts resale. so I have put some work into it and hade the stock fitted to me (shortened a 1/4 inch and cast a bit) and have had a SW Silvers recoil pad installed to give the traditional look, also I have cased in in a beautiful canvas and leather case from Jeff's outfitters. I am in love with the gun and shoot it as much as possible mostly woodcock and rabbit hunting but I also shoot all my clays with it. (beware of the man with one gun sort of deal).

A problem that has come up recently is that the gun is having a hard time ejection high brass shells. It is if they are expanding in the chamber and the ejectors aren't powerful enough to yank them out. Its not all the time and sometimes I can just use my nail to pull them lose but sometimes I need to use a stick to push them out.

If anyone else has had the same problem let me know as it is a little annoying nothing major in my estimation, and it might just be a case of putting a little oil in the chamber or just working the gun in a bit as it is still pretty new (less than 600 cartridges through it).

Thank you.

Try a different brand of shells!

FYI ejectors are sharp as hell on new guns, my 692 had a tough time with the bottom barrel, took about 500 shells or so, and they weren't high brass. Try a new brand of shells, and or just keep shooting it, it will either break in, or you know you have a legit problem.

Specifically, with what shotshells are you having trouble?
