I have been searching for the choke designation markings on my 687 20g (mid 90's fixed choke version), I believe they should be on the left side of the barrels under the forend somewhere but I'll be buggered if I can can find them?

Does anyone have a pic of where they should be assuming they are generally always in the same location?

Left side of the barrels just ahead of the monobloc, and they are tiny marks.
On mine - one and three stars for full and modified.

Ok thanks, I think I have found them (and probably should wear glasses more often) which would indicate mod and full. Was told it was 1/4 and half so better pattern it or have it measured.
2nd pic indicates bore size I assume which is slightly overbore?ImageImage

Quick update measured with a set of verniers at the muzzle (not the most scientific method I know) and it measures up based on the 15.9mm bore size as 1/4 and 1/2.

Until you pattern it with the ammo you intend to use, the rest is immaterial for anything except a possible starting point.
