Hi Guys,

I have an new beretta 693. I am planning to buy new barrels (30") for my gun that originally has a 28" barrels.
I have been told that I should not been using them interchangeably. Unlike semi-auto shotgun, double barrels shotguns have locking lugs that should gradually adjust with the lock up holes (wearing patterns).

A friend of mine told that if I buy the new barrels I should buy new locking lugs.

My questions now is it okay to use both barrels with the same locking lugs?

thank you !

As long as you have the new Bbl's fitted you should be ok,but for verification gives Cole's a call and ask them http://colegun.com/

Thank you for the advice.

I have called beretta technical support for 3 months.
Every time, the attendee was very rude: Some times they say that they are not supposed to give me information since I am not in the same continent !!! Others just said: Well, I can hear you sir, have a good day !!!

I just gave Cole Guns a call, the guy was very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes was enough for me to get the info I was looking for .........Cole Guns are really "cool men"

He said it is okay, it just needs a gunsmith to fit it with the receiver
