Another question regarding my new 687 SPIII. I can't find instructions in the user's manual regarding programming the combinations on the hard plastic gun case locks. They came from the factory with plastic "arrows" slipped through the dials to keep the dials from turning. Does anyone know the procedure for programming in a personal combination for these locks (2)? Thanks.

Can't say with certainty but know that most Italian guns come in Negrini cases, if you go to their website the lock setting procedure can be found there under the Support tab.

Yes, as you discovered the programming instructions for the Negrini cases are made by Negrini, are a separate phamplet and not be found in the user's manual. The user's manual is for the gun, not the case. Besides Beretta, I've found that to be true for other Italian guns which also use the Negrini carry case.

Enjoy your new shotgun and shoot it in good health.
