Is that the original ejector to the gun? Replacing the ejector(s) isn't plug and play. They need to be fitted, timed and heat treated. Parts and labor add up. Not a job for the average person. Takes some force to break an ejector in that area.

A new raw ejector is about $65.00. Not worth even thinking about. Would never be able to weld it back perfect. Would still need fitting, timing and heat treat. I would replace both at the same time with new parts.

Rube Goldberg. It already broke once. The question is why it broke? Defective part, forced closing, poor lubrication, poor cleaning or improper timing.

I’m always trying to learn more about guns. Would you please explain why micro welding is Rube Goldberg?

The big first question is what caused the break? I prefer not to cut corners with used parts on a $65 part I can buy new. If I had to weld because the part was obsolete, it would be micro TIG.

I know someone whos ejector is welded as well, he seems happy with it, I was tempted to go down that path since I was hearing 200ish dollars to fix, but I was at the Autumn Grand and the Gunsmith there hooked me up for ~75 installed EDIT: new part ( or like new) and he did all the fitting and heat treatment.
