Hello everyone! Beretta is offering very long extended black OCHP choke tubes with a 2" extended section on their web site. They are the same price as the regular 3/4" ext choke tubes. What is the purpose and what are the benefits of such long choke tubes? Attachment: s-l500.jpg

The purpose of the choke is to take money from your wallet and put it into Beretta's account. The benefit is that it puts you 1 1/4" closer to the target than with the shorter extended choke tube.

Probably changes the balance slightly more than the shorter version if that is important. I am not sensitive enough to notice but some claim to be.

I think they recognized the trend that people like to pay money for choke gimmicks.
