wondering the difference , pro / cons on the Beretta magazine weight system vs Brileys system ? aside from $$ , weight options , durability , and fit- finish Also Optima HP chokes on a 686 o/u should work in the A400 ?

I use a borrowed Optima HP skeet choke from a 694 in my Xcel 400 Black Sporting since it only came with IC, Mod and IM. Fits fine. My Briley Sk should be here shortly as it seems there weren't any Beretta chokes to be purchased in Canada.
Just don't confuse the 4 different model/styles/types of Beretta chokes that have evolved since they started putting in removable choke tubes.

HP is the thing ! Optima HP is used in my SP1 Earlier ones have different chokes Got lucky that the A400 xcel uses same chokes
The 686 with 30" is heavier than xcel figured it would be good to add some weight on xcel especially since I've added 4oz on the 686 barrels to balance out the mercury recoil in the stock.
I'm liking the overall balance and weight so figured to beef up the xcel

If you are talking about the magazine cap weight, stick with beretta. Looks better, and the silver weight is heavier than black.

I think the Briley weights need to be used with Briley caps
