I'm an old school hunter. I hunt all big game to include Rocky Mountain bull elk with a bolt action .270 Win. I love the .222 Rem for varmints to include coyotes. When it comes to bird guns, I'm all over SxS. If I could justify its 6k price tax (including sales tax and fees) I'd buy this:

Does anyone have one? For those who do, what''s your experience with it? Would you recommend. it?

It wouldn't take a lot of bait to get me to bite on a Beretta SxS. In my opinion, a SxS defines bird gun. But 6k is a lot of skin in the bird hunting game.

When I think old school bird guns, I think SxS.

Maybe I'm getting old ;-)

Those Beretta SxSs are very nice guns. I own several Berettas but not one of those. If you don’t mind the price go for it. But there are other very nice SxSs for less money. A used Ugartechea or AYA in very good condition can be had for a third of the cost of that Beretta.

However, until you've shouldered or maybe even shot it there's no point in discussing cost.
