I have shared your excitement. It has been a while since I bought a new shotgun but I was excited to get it out to the field and see if I made a good investment. The 930 has a good reputation. Good luck with it.

Plus Mossberg has a solid reputation for after sale customer service so you should be in good hands if needed. Hopefully, it will not ever be necessary. Good luck!

Yes sir, that is one big reason why I chose it over a few others !
One add on I am thinking about is a choke, #4 buck, for Coyotes.
Something I noted on various YouTube videos was how well
The 930 patterned compared to a few other same ballpark price SA.
And if not the pattern, the same shooter showed a better poi,
Although ... YouTube video... my mileage will be different lol

I owned a 930, the Duck Commander model. I could not find a thing wrong with it. Was a little heavy for me. Good guns.

Home and cleaned up !
I am out of any practice, mounting wise, but bringing it up to my cheek with minimum head movement gives a hopeful picture :) Recoil pad probably a bit high on the heel, that can be fixed if needed.
Just need to get to the skeet and trap range to see how well if at all, I can break a few clays and how my cheek feels lol.

As a common sense suggestion; you should try some of the supplied CTs before buying aftermarket ones to see exactly what you need. Please let us know how the new toy works for you and good luck! Congratulations-Christmas came early for you!

Yes :) If I did get any extra chokes.. it would be a skeet and some kind of "optimized" coyote reaching one, #4 buck. lol.

dang marketing guys, they are soo smooth in the advertisements!

At this time, I have zero shotgun skills left over from, oh lord.. 2004 or so..

I need to ask around to some locals to use some Telescoping Gages and mike what I have, Barrel and chokes. Would be interesting!
Got invited to a local machine shop's BBQ on friday.. maybe I should take the barrel and chokes !

OK! This shotty serves me well! will make a great hunter. After a long time away, I guess I averaged 16 to 18 on several rounds of skeet. So I am excited about it. Shooting solo, kind of stressful on my weak arms to hold gun in one hand and push controller button, then mount and wait one to two seconds. LOL.
I need to drop the recoil pad though, it mostly fits overall, but the heel is up by probably an inch, in the air. I'm 6' 3"
