I have been to the Ithaca factory and they are some really nice folks. Not sure if they would be interested in hosting such an event or not but it could possibly make a good sales day for them if enough people show up. Summer would most likely work out for hunters - not much else going on at that time. I live about an hour and a half away but would be willing to help as much as I could.

That's what I was thinking. I don't know what their reaction would but I'm guessing it'd make a great pr and marketing event for them. They might even sell a few guns too.

The Elkhorn Lake Hunt Club is about 20-25 minutes away from the Ithaca factory. Good people, nice setting, and they have a sporting clays course too! Here's the link: http://www.elkhornlakehuntclub.com/

That sounds like a good idea Grousen. You in too?
I'm going to try to contact Ithaca today and see if they'd be interested in at least giving us a tour.

I would love to. It all depends on the date and if I can get that day off work. If the date works for me, I'll be there! Sounds like a great time with some real Ithaca lovers!

Sounds like an awesome time. It's a little far for me, but those silver birds are pretty fast! Trusting my beloved Ithaca to some TSA thug makes me pretty nervous!

Hopefully we can make this happen. If so I will bring a few guns for show and tell and would gladly let you use one for a few rounds.

I'm sure that we'll all have enough to go around. Ohio will think it's been invaded lol!

Guys I've got an email in to Ithaca, and I'll follow that up with a call first of the week. I'll let y'all know what they say.

Alright folks, heads up! I just got a reply from Ithaca! Now I don't want to give out too much yet until I confirm somethings, but..... They definitely want us to come and tour the facility, it looks like we can get a venue close by for sporting clays, and there may be the possibility of some "toys" to play with. There are still some things to be confirmed and worked out. Hopefully in the next day or two I'll have firm details and and a tentative time frame to bring back to y'all. It's looking good. Spread the word to the other Ithaca lovers that haven't yet responded and let's see if we can't have us a good ol reunion!
