Friends - hope you are all doing well and not too stir-crazy these days! :?

We have two nice Flues 16 ga. doubles in this month's auction.

.1. FLues Grade 1 16 ga. #383044. 28" barrels, lots of case, excellent varnish. M&F. Only distraction is non-matching forend #382932! Fits perfectly - you would never know. Auction #78.

2. FLues Grade 1 16 ga. #355962. 26" barrels, fading case colors, very good finish and checkering. M&F. Not quite as nice as #1, but all matching and 26" barrels! Auction #256.

Stay well!

Hello Al. Hope you are well. I noticed those two... both look to be in excellent condition.
My 16 gauge Flues are my favorites for grouse and pheasants (I have two, one with tube steel barrels and one with twist steel). I have a 16 gauge Citori that is my back up gun because it weighs a full pound more than my Ithacas. The 26" barrelled gun should be about 5-1/2 pounds.

Very nice Flues - not my first choice as a chuck rifle, but it seems to have done the job! :)

I was bird hunting at the family farm and he came out of his hole under our pump house so I took advantage of the opportunity. #7's at about 30 yards did the trick.
