Flues Grade I, I love this engraving. So Arts & Crafts, but still timeless. Made 1920. Shooting it tomorrow night with some reduced powder loads. Chambers measured 2 3/4.

Those are good looking guns.

Very interesting, wasn't aware that they made 18" guns with full length mag tube. Think I have a new preferred configuration, actually it's a setup that I was thinking of having done by a gunsmith.

18-7 High Standards regularly come up for sale on Gunbroker but I have never seen this configuration for sale in an Ithaca.

Here are some px of my Ithaca " Victory Grade" Knick model SBT. Walt got me the original owners name and ship date in 1925, and Bill Murphy got me his trap averages in 1930. It must have been a backup gun as it appears nearly unfired. Enjoy! Lee. :D Image

Lee, that is one beautiful Knick! I just came into ownership of one. Aside from it being my trap gun, it has also become a bit of a project. I had been searching for photos to use as reference considering that mine isn't a 4E or 5E model. It needs a little bit of TLC (surface rust, needs a new butt plate). Considering I'm going to be the 3rd generation in my family using the firearm(and the first 2 also hunted with it) it's in great condition. So stoked to see these photos and have a reference point. Thank you.

Not sure on the vintage, but here's a picture of my 20 ga. My parents bought it for me when I was 12 years old, just in time for grouse and duck seasons. Over the years, it's been joined by three 12 gauges (two Mossbergs and a CZ), and has generally been relegated to safe queen status. I doubt I'll ever sell it, though - too much sentimental value.

Nice gun, MNNavy. I've got two model 37s, a 12 and a 16. Guess I should get a 20 to go with them.
