My two Ithaca '37s, both 12 Bores, both 30" full choke barrels. The front '37 is a 1953 Field Grade and the rear '37 is a Magnum Model made in 1981.

jer901 suggested I should post these pictures over here. They are of my 1954 20ga M37R Featherlight Deluxe. I refinished the stock, added the recoilpad and grip cap. I touched up the metal with Oxpho Blue to cover up some scratches.

I hope you enjoy! :D

Ithaca Classic Doubles 4-ES 16ga. 2-bbl. set. It's the only gun made with 2 sets of 16ga. bbls. I had them choked in .000's - .003/.007, .008/.018.
This is gun 2 of a matched pair. The other gun is a 28ga. and my favorite gun, period.

This 1989 Model 87 3" King Ferry gun has standard Invector choke tubes, a 28" barrel, and all I've done to is is strip the peeled varnish, recut the machine checkering, and add many applications of boiled linseed oil. It's the only shotgun I'd ever need, but I get to have a lot more. Winning bid was $255, and it cost anther $55 to get it shipped and transferred. What else is this world can you buy as good for as little money?

It shoots dead on at forty yards, too. This is with a modified tube, #9 1 1/8 oz 1145 fps Federal Gold Medal, offhand.

Image

I'd guess the gun to weigh just over seven pounds, and with three inch chambers and Invectors, it can handle anything from steel shot loads to target loads with no trouble.

Though I posted this project elsewhere a photo of it needs to be here. Lest anyone say a bird's head grip is useless on a shotgun, let me please say I have a full stock for the gun, it takes only a moment to replace the abbreviated grip with a full sized field stock. The stock I used to make the bird's head was damaged, this is a project I wanted to undertake, it was a lot of fun, and this project turned out nicely!
