This gun will be shot, not stored. BUT I want beautiful wood and Imp Cyl or skeet. I want it slick as a whistle, Not against the newer Japan models.

Talk to me, what should I watch out for on an older gun.

I have a 1947 model 12 that has a 28 in barrel with 2 3/4 cham and imp cyl on it. The guns isn't in bad condition just isn't great either. The gun itself looks great but the bluing is very worn. There isn't any rust or anything. Just turned more silver. There are to many variations to find any solid starting point on value. I can post pics if needed. The wood looks great.
