Hello all,
After years and years its finally time to have some pro level work done on my favorite friend. Looking to have both extractors & springs replaced, new ejector, check the timing, and general tune up. I am having issues ejecting shells. Its been a long battle, plenty of small changes along the way with marginal success. ( machine carrier, replaced sever ejectors, etc). A pair of fat wigeon sailing off untouched while I was fumbling the slide, picking spent shells, and inventing new 4 letter words is the straw that broke the camels back.
The new parts are pretty straight forward, getting it to eject cleanly is the million dollar issue. She has not been the perfect repeater, and I'm trying to get her back in shape. My other model 12's are so reliable I never send them out to have work done, I can get the minor parts and do changes myself. Time to ask for help. Which of the trusted shops would you turn to for this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Searun... Nuline does come to mind. I've ordered parts from them. They put a TuffCoat on 10 or so years ago. Not opposed to them but curious who else there is to consider.

In years past, Simmons of Olathe, KS was an excellent gun repair facility. However, I have not used them for many years so can't vouch for their current administration.

Simmons is not what they once were.
They have changed ownership a couple of times or more and most of the experienced gunsmiths have retired or left.
I had a very poor experience with them a couple of years ago.
Nu-Line is an official Winchester warranty station.
