Hello everyone. I have not been on this site for a long time but here I am. I have decided that yes, I am going to start selling off my collection. I would love to sell the whole thing but I don’t see that happening and I’m not crazy about going to auction with them. I much rather sell them to my friends on here. So if your looking for a certain grade or choke of 42 let me know and I will see if I can fill it. I’m selling my guns at my cost and I started collecting over 15 years ago so I think my prices will be competitive. Again, my collection is on YouTube under Model Winchester 42 collectors. You can EM me at [email protected] I hope I didn’t break any rules posting this. Thanks. Larry Sidener. St.Louis.

Larry, good luck in this endeavor. Just out of curiosity, what does a solid ribbed field grade 42 go for as well as a plain barreled one in good condition?
Sad to see the collection go but I understand. When I turned 80 I decided to sell my modest collection. Time to let someone else have the fun of taking care of the guns for a while. Best of luck.
I agree Walt. I hate to break it up. It will never ever be put back together like this. I went down to my collection last night and I must say it pulled at my heart to think I will be selling it. I turned 73 this year and my best of best friends died a month ago so it gets you thinking. Plus I have two girls and no boys. No one comes to see the collection so I think what’s the point in owning it if no one ever sees it. If people would come to see it I would probably keep it. It’s going to be hard for me to sell it and at the same time it’s going to be hard to sell. Larry [email protected]
I can not receive PM on here because my message box is full and I can’t figure out how to delete them. If anyone could send me a EM or text and tell me how it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance ...Larry 314 808-4338 [email protected]

I don't have an extensive collection, but I do have two daughters. Neither are interested in my collection. One of the girl's boyfriend a few years back hunted deer with me. He shot a nice 2 1/2 year old buck that day... so, he's got dibs on that rifle... I'll pass it on when he gets back from the service.. Other than that.... The guns will be sold as my shooting activities slow down..
I've seen your pics over the years. Beautiful collection... Enjoy a few of the special ones.
