I’m picking through a friends dads collection to possibly sell off some pieces and came across a Winchester Model 20 in 410. I only know they were made between 1920 and 1924. The receiver is worn but the barrel blue is in decent shape.

There is also a model 41 bolt action in 410. Again all I know is it’s made between 1920-1934 and they weren’t serialized.

Is there a following for these and what is the value??

There is also a 16 and 20 ga single shot I haven’t researched yet.

I have a model 20.
A well built and class little Hammer Gun from a hundred years ago.
In enviable condition perhaps $2000. Only in .410 and only a very few thousand were produced.

Some Winchester collectors need them to complete their collections. They obviously didn't do much in the marketplace in their day, not competing well against their J. Stevens, Iver Johnson, and Harrington & Richardson counterparts. Like Model 37s and Model 24s, if they didn't have the Winchester name on them nobody would care.

I'd still want a M-20. Have a M37 .410, too. No comparison.

My son feels likewise. Two weeks before turning 7 broke his first H7 with it. Made him break every skeet single at least once before buying him a 391 Y model. Full choke, 1/2 oz, and all. Think H8 was the last one, IIRC.
