I am sending my Super X receiver to an engraver in the very near future. I’d like to remove the magazine tube and the return spring assembly at the rear of the receiver. The return spring assembly appears to be screwed into the back of the receiver. I’ve tried placing a screwdriver in the assembly and twisting it out but I’m afraid to use too much force. I think I read where there may have been loctite employed during assembly and the use of heat might help a little.

So. . . . . looking for direction on how to remove these parts.

Thanks in advance

Yes, both tubes are installed with Locktite.
Heat them with a heat gun to loosen the Locktite and use a strap wrench to unscrew them.
Before removing the action spring tube note it's location as to how far it is screwed into the receiver.
The magazine tube is screwed fully into the receiver.
