I plan to down size my model 12 collection. I am looking to sell my Super pigeon Model 12 serial number Y196xxxx. I also plan to sell a model 12 black diamond trap. I also have a few more traps. Some have been refinished. Most are original.. I would like some suggestions on the best auction place to sell them. my state is getting bad on gun rights. I am getting old and need to down size

Depending on the size of your collection, you may be pleasantly surprised what a couple of reputable dealers might offer you. Look on Gunsinternational , they have specific categories for Pigeon and Diamond grades. Also, you might list them here under the Classifieds.

I live in Virginia. I would hate for some anti-gun person decide a model 12 is a machine gun. The might is they saw the right person shoot one.

Let us know what you decide. I'm sure members of this board would be interested in these guns.

Let us know what you want for the Super Pigeon. Post some pics. Someone here will likely be interested ad save you auction fees....
I'd post a list with photos, accurate description and price. You might be surprised what sells right here on shotgunworld in the classified's.

GrayFox, since you are a collector, perhaps you have an extra 12 gauge buttstock you'd part with? Looking for a standard checkered one that has little or nothing cut off. I am refurbishing a very nice 1954 2 pin and the stock on it is too short for me to shoot it. If not, any suggestions will be appreciated...I've checked the usual suspects, but nothing decent or reasonable priced. This will be a "shooter".
