I purchased the SBE with the Steady Grip stock and can not get the reducer to grab the threads on the stock screw. I called Benelli and they said I had the right one. I want the reducer, but I do not want to grind the inside of the stock to make the necessary room. Help is always appreciated!

What do you mean "grind the inside of the stock"? Does the reducer fit down into the hole? If it doesn't fit into the hole, how do you know whether the threads will fit or not? Is this a synthetic or wood stock. Please explain your problem some more and perhaps someone can help solve it.
