Has anyone had this problem? if so how did you repair it? Benelli website has replacement pads for $85 but they are out of stock???

any suggestions are appreciated. it looks like it is a special non standard recoil pad??

My gues is to NOT replace it with the same pad.
May require a grind to fit pad.

OK, I see what you mean.
Because of the design, it might require to replace with the Benelli pad.
Post this question on the gunsmithing/restoration forum and see what they say!

Did you ever find a place to get a replacement or an aftermarket one? I’ve ran into the same problem It’s beyond frustrating to have almost $2k invested in a firearm between it and chokes and accessories for it to be rendered useless because of it being a gun specific fit recoil pad

Yep its very frustrating. I have a super vinci with the same problem and the only place I have found a replacement so far is directly with Benelli.

Try EBay that’s where I got my original Medium Pad for my Vinci last month.

I have two friends with that gun and both of them had to replace the pads. They bought Limsavers. Strange, I have an SBE II and m2 with no problems. Must be a different pad.

We see so many reports of this here on this blog that there is obviously a problem with the synthetic rubber that the pads are made from. It’s too bad that Benelli hasn’t initiated a recall or at least offered free replacements for the faulty ones

I've been searching high and low for a replacement for my Vinci and came across this post. Anyone have a solution? I pulled the shotgun out of the safe a few months ago and it looked like someone had been chewing on it? Can't find a replacement anywhere!

I bought mine from Benelli. Have you tried Midwest Gun Works?

I purchased the short LOP recoil pad from the Benelli site to reduce the LOP. My original pad from 2012 is still in good shape but for winter waterfowl I am wearing multiple layers of bulky clothing.
For anyone who has replaced the original with a Benelli pad,
is the replacement a simple pull out and replace or is there some trick to it.
The pads are available on the Benelli site.

Just pull it off, sometimes they are stuck on a little snug. Works best to twist it to the side and kind of roll it off.

Crazy to hear that this is an issue. I had my SV for four seasons and never had an issue prior to selling it but it's obviously a problem based off of those that have replied in this thread alone. What's odd is that I have never had an issue with any of my Benelli pads on any of my other Benelli's to include SBE, SBEII, SBE3, Legacy, Super Sport, Montefeltro. Unfortunately it sounds like y'all are left only with replacing it with a factory pad.
