So I am looking for a new trap skeet pheasant gun . In a 20 gauge I think.

My question is the ethos worth spending an extra 900 dollars on?? I just went and held them both. Both felt good can’t decide

Not to me!
I’ve got a Montefeltro and am very satisfied with it.

Slight differences.

The ethos has a carbon fiber rib and AA grade walnut. The Ethos also has an updated bolt that fixes the “click” issue that some people make a fuss about.

I have a 12ga Montefeltro and I like it enough that I’m wanting one in 20ga also. I prefer the steel rib and I believe the “click” is blown way out of proportion by gun writers.

My family has four montefeltros amongst us. Everyone loves them. No reason to switch from what’s worked in our group

Yeah I am not sure I want to spend the extra 1000 on an ethos if it isn’t really necessary

Get the gun that pleases you the most. Never mind the cost.
