I have had enough problems with Red Label, and various Ruger center fire rifles to know that I will never own another in any gauge or caliber.

Ruger's are just hit or miss in my experience. I've got a T512 that's a superb little autoloader. I've been more than pleased with my 77-22. On the other hand, I've also got a Mini-14 Target that can't put 5 shots in 3 inches at 100 yards. I'm bitterly disappointed in that gun. Plus, I can't tell you how many Red Labels that I've seen lay down on the owner. On balance, I just don't see any more Rugers in my future.

I've got a M77 MkII 7x57 rifle that I like. I'd be willing to try a Ruger autoloading shotgun if it appealed to me and the initial reviews were positive.

I am a ruger rifle man through an through mainly old school Tang safety and a big fan of Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag. I owned one of the Ruger Trap Undersingle trap guns as well awesome gun but guy had more money than I had commitment to the gun.
