does anyone know where to get hammer springs and firing pins. I have a 1975 red label.

I'd start at Numrich. Springs were tough to find, but a local gunsmith dug one out of a big plastic box of assorted springs offered from Brownells. I replaced springs a firing pins and it made no difference. In retrospect I think the problem was primers set too deep or or firing pins which shoud have been a might longer. Disassembled my 28 ga. three times - what a pain.

You are far better smith than I if you disassembled one with no instructions. Well done. I have found too deep primers to be an issue even with factory shells.
