Local dealer has one of these, lightly used - 12 Ga, 24" barrels, alloy receiver, rifled lower barrel - for $1700. This will be a grouse & woodcock gun. Of course, I'll be shouldering it first, but I want to find out all I can about this gun beforehand. My main concerns are the 24" barrel length and the alloy receiver. Is there an equivalent Verona model that is perhaps more well known?

Thanks.

OK, I think I've let this one marinate long enough. I'll be cross-posting in the Gun Opinions forum.

Thanks for looking.

Long shot that you will ever see this, but did you ever buy this? I am trying to get one in from Italy, and would be curious to know how you liked it, or where you saw it. Tim
