Has anyone used these on a Mossberg? Any good/bad things about them? I was thinking the recoil would be worse (using it open) as there doesnt seem to be any pad...

I have the exact top folding stock on my 500A. It has a thin rubber pad on the butstock end. The recoil wasn't bad using 00 buckshot. since the buttstock has a bigger "footprint" than the regular stock, it seems that the recoil is distributed.
