I have been trying to get my hands on one to see how it feels but nobody seems to have one in stock. I wonder how it compares to the new Stoeger 3000 as far as weight and quality. It's my understanding the Franchi is made, or at least assembled in Italy whereas the Stoeger is built in Turkey. The Stoeger is about $200 cheaper, so that alone makes me wonder if it is quite as well made as the Franchi.

Good points. I have shouldered the Affinity w/o shooting it at a LGS and it feels nice. In fact, it was light enough for my 10y.o. son to do the same with relative ease. I'd like to know the difference, and at $200 less, it might be perfect for my son, instead of a Youth modified 1100.

I'm not going to try to compare them. The Affinity is as well made as any mass-produced autoloader on the market today.

Thanks. My Vinci and M2 ComforTech stocks are hard plastic-- no rubbery texture at all. What I'd call kinda sorta "rubbery" (a grippy, tacky feel) would be a Browning Dura-Touch genre stock. Randy, I just found out the "rubbery" feel I like on the Benelli is called "GripTight". It is on both my 12-gauge Cordoba and 20-gauge M2. Does the Affinity stock have a similar feel to "GripTight"?

How rough is the 12 gauge on your shoulder if fitted properly? Typical recoil operated gun, or something more tolerable.

I have both the 12 and 20 in black synthetic with 26" barrels. I love them! Been asking myself recently if there's anything I can't go after with these two guns and why not sell the rest??

Just picked one up last week - have only 50 rounds through it so far between my son and myself and it performed flawlessly. My first semi-auto - quite a nice machine.

Mostly 1-1/8 oz but half a dozen 1 oz shells (me shooting) without problem.
To be clear, I'm a new shooter, as is my son (16yo), and neither of us is any good yet. But In the half dozen times we've gone to a local sporting clays place, I have always had about 33% - 50% more hits than my son. First time out with the Affinity, he beats me by 20% with me using my CZ Drake. I think he likes the Affinity.
In my own defense, he was shooting 1-1/8 oz while I was shooting 1 oz, but he had a great time, and so did I.

I picked up both guns earlier this year and have not yet run any hunting loads thru them. All shells have been target loads, 1oz 12 gauge and 7/8oz 20. Probably 200 rounds thru each gun at trap. They have worked flawlessly. I should note they were both pre owned and I'm assuming broken in properly before I got them.
