A question for those of you that have an Affinity. Does the barrel serial number match the serial number on the receiver of your shotgun?

I ask because a friend showed me his new never fired and the barrel serial number does not match the serial number on the receiver. I assume they should match. You will have to remove the barrel and handguard. It is on the right side of the barrel near the chamber marked with a laser like the serial number on the receiver.

If some of you Affinity owners could check and let me know. Thank you.

Mine does not, but not knowing Franchi's protocol for such things, I can't say that I am concerned. The shotgun works great.

In looking at this further, there was a label in the box that had two stickers on it, the left side had the receiver serial number and the right side had the barrel serial number with the text on it in Italian. Obviously this must have come this way from the factory.

Thanks to those who replied.
