Does anyone happen to know what the differences between the Instinct Sporting (no longer available, discounted to about $1200--by far the cheapest non-Turkish shotgun with an adjustable comb) and the Sporting ii (~$1600ish--tied with the FAIR Carerra One for second-cheapest, but starting to approach Cynergy CX pricing) might be, other than a rebrand? The basic features SEEM to be pretty similar, though info on these guns is pretty sparse. Thanks!

I'd like to know the difference too. I just came home with the Sporting ll. Due to rain and generally raw weather, I can't pattern it until tomorrow. I'm anxious to shoot it.

I just spoke to Franchi and the difference is that the Sporting ll has ported barrels and an adjustable comb.

Exactly, that's why I went with the sporting model . A fellow trap shooter has the basic Instinct { 12 ga } and does very well with it. A quality gun for a lot less $$
