I felt Trump would come up short. Still have some hope for the Senate. Have lived in liberal hell so long fighting them is just what we do. So I’m ready to move on to bigger battles.

I think the folks who will be the most disappointed will be the crazies on the extreme left. They are already complaining about cabinet picks, all moderate money people and diplomats.
We need to right the country coming out of the pandemic, the progressives are fun to watch but have no ability to drive the world most dynamic economy, and Joe and hoe know it.

The last two days have brought such a cascade of defeats to Trump’s efforts to remain President, it’s apparent to current events junkies, the rule of law will prevail and the election will not be overturned.

I think virtually the entire country, will be secretly relieved.

The most disappointed will be political comedians.

They’ll poke fun at Biden, too, but Saturday Night Live will never be as funny from now on.

Nothing will really change after January 20, in the lives of everyday Americans.

The massive effort already in process to vaccinate the entire population for Covid 19 will continue.

By then well over a third of a million Americans will have died, with a vaccine in the pipeline.

The little old man that made his rounds of every business in our little town, saying hi every morning, died yesterday of COVID 19.

He was a wonderful man, good Christian, and a friend to all.

All anybody should expect of Joe Biden is for him to keep his promise to be the President for everybody in the country, not just himself and his supporters.

We crave unity, and have never needed a common purpose more than today.

we will have to wait and see if some of the crazier ideas actually get through, what I find surprising is how virtually every media outlet is now saying forgiving student debt is a wrongheaded approach, but if Biden balks at this you can bet the coalition of younger entitled voters will be let down....as will all those who praised his inclusive rhetoric and now seems to be onboarding a high level staff of all older white guys. Will the media hold him accountable? guessing not.

And I do agree, with Biden I would love to see MSNBC, CNN, and other outlets lose viewership as they won't have anything to talk about....unless they keep blaming Trump and Bush for his four years (if he makes it that long)

The leftists who though Biden might be a closet socialist and the right wingers who still want to audit the federal reserve will be dissspointed to hear Biden’s pick to replace Mnuchin at Treasury:

——

President-elect Joe Biden has picked former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen to be his Treasury secretary, according to people familiar with the decision, in a historic move intended to satisfy competing factions within the Democratic Party.
Yellen, a widely respected labor economist, would blaze a new trail as the first woman to head the Treasury Department seven years after becoming the first to helm the Fed. If confirmed, she would wield immense clout in shaping policy on taxes, financial regulation and the economy, and have a preeminent role in the international arena.

——

But I’d guess she’ll get every vote to confirm except Rand Paul’s, maybe Ted Cruz.

And Biden has picked a mild mannered, middle aged white sycophant for his Secretary of State.

—-

Washington (CNN) - Antony Blinken, President-elect Joe Biden's pick for secretary of state, has worked with the former vice president for so long that one former State Department official said that "it's difficult to know where one person's policy vision ends and the other's begins

—-

So far, Biden promises to be the next Gerald Ford.

But will he pardon Trump?

There are a lot of angry Democrats that would love to see Trump locked in a cage in one of his camps, and drinking from a steel toilet.

My guess is Biden will circulate the word to let Trump go easy, so he can embarrass the Republicans, and good luck and good riddance.

Biden is going to try and get a third of a billion Americans vaccinated, twice.

That should keep him busy awhile.

Biden has his hands full filling out his cabinet with his CNN and NBC handlers before
anything else.
They will hand him instructions from Chinese leadership on what policy will be.
While those CNN and NBC people might love for him to go after Trump
even he and the Chinese know it would be a suicide mission for Biden.
He will be so weakened before he gets into office with the stench of election fraud that
Biden might end up the lead actor in a re enactment of Mussolini's last days
with a lamppost scene if he tried it.

what I thought was funny was all of the prediction articles on how diverse his cabinet would be and how he was considering Susan Rice and all of these other folks, and in the end he picks all the old usual suspects....I fully expect the media to give him the worlds longest honeymoon (much like Obama's two terms of softballs and cheerleading) but it is exciting to watch the progressives freak out with his current picks. The Rahm Emanuel situation is a hoot.
