These are not your everyday Baikals. These are the shotguns used by Russian olympic shooters, rich gun collectors etc. These firearms are made on special order. These shotguns are the Russian equivalents of the Perazzis and Krieghoffs. Some shotgun connaisseurs call them "Holland & Holland quality at Beretta prices".
The MTs firearms are made by a company called TSKIB SOO (which roughly translates as Central Firearms Research Institute). A few years ago,TSKIB SOO has been acquired by KBP (which is a weapons making company 200 miles south of Moscow).
You can find some of the models displayed at this page:
http://www.kbptula.ru/eng/sphu/hunt/hunt1.htm
Another page that might interest you:

Just click on the pictures and you will see beautifull firearms.
An intersting article about one of the current but least expensive models can be found here http://www.clayshootingusa.com/readers/ ... 20Star.pdf
By the way, these shotguns cost thousands of dollars. Some cost tens of thousands of $$$$.....Unfortunately,these guns have not been imported to the USA for a while. A few were brought by a gunshop in Montreal (Canada) in 2003-04 and were immediatly acquired by gun collectors.
Enjoy.

Their very different RYSS pump action shotgun.
- Magazine on top, barrel at bottom.
- Loading from top (like a heavy machine gun).
- No receiver, shorter overall length.
- Untypical forward-backward pump action.
- Fewer parts than any other pump gun (hence very reliable).
These were available in Canada for a while. Very much sought after firearm for their uniqueness and usefulness as a home dfense/bear defense shotgun. I had one but sold it (I should have kept it).
The above are RYSS-U model.
RYSS-K model with metallic folding stock.
Various RYSS models.

TSKIB SOO also produces other very interesting firearms like a semiauto rimfire rifle with a 20 ga shotgun barrel on top, a FOUR-barrel shotgun, various combos and drillings.
The above are very rare and I don't have photos. I have only this picture fo a MTs drilling:

Update.
I wrote to the manufacturing company in Russia inquiring about their prices, and here is their reply:

Dear Mr. Dan ...!
Thank you for your interest in production of our plant – the only designer and manufacturer of wide range of high-grade sporting and hunting guns in Russia.
As requested in your letter we inform some information about interesting for you hunting shotguns.
1. Hunting shotgun MTs7
High-grade shotguns. Executed in accordance with the classic canons of gunmaking. The bore is locked by two locking frames. Boxlock action with double triggers and hammer interceptors. Ejector, automatic safety. The receiver and trigger plate are engraved and chased.
Price – 15 000$
2.Hunting shotgun MTs111
A unique high-grade shotgun with sidelock system. A real masterpiece, executed in the classic English style. Precise fitting of parts and units, high-quality materials ensure high durability and long service life of the shotgun. The bore is locked by two locking frames and three barrel lugs. Sidelock with hammer interceptors, double triggers or a single selective trigger. Ejector, manual safety.
Price – from 40 000$
3. Hunting shotgun MTs109
Hunting shotguns MTs109 are the best over-under shotguns. They feature perfection and original design, precise fitting of parts and units, artistic finish. The bore is locked by two locking frames and three barrel lugs. Sidelock with hammer interceptors, double triggers or a single selective trigger. Ejector, manual safety.
Price – from 40 000$
The MTs7 hunting shotguns can be chambered for 12 and 20 ga. cartridges.
The MTs111 and MTs109 are produced for 12 ga.
Such high prices depend on technology: precise fitting of parts and units is performed manually with abutment of planes about 80%. As a result of that all mechanisms work without gaps. It ensures high durability and long service life of the shotgun. The quantity of shots from shotguns MTs very often amounts to 700 000.
We haven’t an importer/distributor in Canada. However we can apply with questions on purchase to our dealer in Germany:

Nice photos!
I can vouch for the quality of the MTs 110. It is not a boxlock, it is a trigger plate lock gun. The one I handled had deep chisel engraving, impressive fit and finish on all parts and really good balance which disguised the weight (about 7lbs in 12 g).
I have also seen and handled sidelocks with Purdey type action and others with Holland actions. All were really well made, equal to any other European best guns. Their only drawback was the weight which was around 7 lbs. But on the other hand these were all designed from the start as 2 3/4 inch chamber guns and not as 2 1/2.

Another interesting fact about the Mts 7, the profile of its action is even lower than that of the Beretta and Perazzi comp guns, and i know Beretta had a claim in Aussie magazine a while ago that they had the slimest O/U action in the world.

Some pics here of my "new" shotgun, year 1954. I mainly bought it for international skeet and loving it. Relativly short barreled, but have nt noticed it as a problem yet. Both barrels have a very narrow rib. Not a problem for the skeet barrel, but it will not be my gun of choice for international trap.
