Stuffed up, touch screens can really ...?..?..
What I was trying to say was by the time I sanded the fore grip, the checkering was very shallow, in my great wisdom went to a wood crafter's store where they sell everything to do wood work, lathes, etc. However, no one knew anything about gun stock restorations. So I bought a small "V" chisel, but on using it it would often take out more than intended and even knocked off the diamonds.
I could leave it untouched, but I made it much worse. Can any one help? Glue and saw dust might no be good enough. Has anyone have one spare to sell? But I want yhe challenge to keep it original as possible.
