INTERESTING ACCESSORIES

Apart from the magazine extender, this MP-153 has a rifled choke barrel extension designed to shoot sabot slugs.
The other firearms in the picture are a Baikal IZH-27 Sporting o/u and a couple of Saigas (a shotgun and a rifle).

The synthetic MP-153 in this image has aftermarket fiber-optic sights, mag extender, butt shotshell holder and a saddle type scope mount.
The other firearms in this picture are :
- on the left side : a Saiga 410 semi-auto shotgun
- on the right side: a Baikal IZH-18EM Trap gun and a Baikal Izh-60 airgun that has been converted to PCP.
- The pistols on this photo are the Baikal Izh-79 and Izh-78. The last one is an OSA electroshock self-protection device.

LATE PRODUCTION MP-153

The main visible differences are: the broader handle and the hole in the cartridge elevator.
I think the SPR-453 should have the same modifications.

This synthetic one has a different ventilated rib. It may have been designed that way in order to accomodate a long optical sight on the receiver.

Garret, don't adjust the gas system until the gun is broken in. Basically, you shouldn't have to adjust the gas system at all.
