Garret, don't adjust the gas system until the gun is broken in. Basically, you shouldn't have to adjust the gas system at all.

basiclly in what scence of ther word and will it come the baikal box

and will someone explain the complete gas system in detail to wear a 13 teen year old can understand it

It will be explained in your book. Have your dad/uncle/grandfather help you out. If you're 13 you are not buying it on your own.

But as stated, just do not touch it. Leave it at the factory setting and you will be fine.

Picked up my SPR this morning and it came in a cardboard box wrapped in cleart plastic!

Seems really nice upon initial handling it--also cleaned all the goo off of it this afternoon and oiled her up :D

I will be taking it out to the skeet range tomorrow at lunch and will report back tomorrow night....

Iholla,

Where did you get your gun? Near Chicago they can't be found. Dicks Sporting Goods does not have any, Bass ProShop won't have any till November, and Gander Mt does not have any.

Could someone give me the details of a shop in the UK where I could buy a MP-153 Baikal Synthetic ? I've been looking for a Marocchi, but I think the MP-153 is as good and even cheaper. Am I right ? Have you got an idea about the price of the MP-153 synthetic ?

Thanks,

Martin

I bought mine from new avon arms, I paid £440 for the gun brand new.
Have had no problems with the gun, it shoots great, give it a go, you wont be disapointed.

Nate :D

To SCTigerJeep:

I noticed the serial number on your gun is 21 higher than mine. When and where did you purchase your gun? How well is it working for you?

My serial number: 0515317806 R

I purchased mine in Southern Illinois at the end of 2005. I have been having cycling problems so I sent it in for repair a couple days ago. I would be very interested to know how well a gun with a close serial number is performing.

Thanks!

i got mine in upstate south carolina about 2 weeks ago. it has had no problems at all... i ran 150 1 and 1/4 oz. shells through it on it's first time out to break it in and it performed flawlessly. since then, i have shot probably 200 1 and 1/8 oz. shells through it with no problems. i have even cycled the gun through all 5 shells as fast as i could move my trigger finger and it didn't skip a beat.

it has been a great gun so far, and i hope it continues to perform as well as it has! :D

What kind of cycling problems was your gun having? Just wondering because i sent mine in today to have it worked on for the thirde shell sticking 1/2 way out of the magazine. How long did it take for them to send it back and when they did was it fixed good.

Here is my buddy's Spartan that he had dipped. If you look at my previous post with the picture of the geese his gun is on the left.
