Here is one with a different (upscale) stock and a set of chokes that include 3 "lead only" chokes, 1 steel rated choke and 1 choke that is either a rifled choke or some sort of an extra full constriction. ![]() This one has a mag extension and nice grain on the wood. ![]() This synthetic one is mine. It came in the box next to it. ![]() |

You're making it hard to decide between getting the wood or synthetic version ![]() BT |

Nice pictures Gary. Here is another forum member in action ![]() Lets not forget the camo models ![]() A gunshop in Russia. Note that some of these MP-153s seem to have 750 mm (30") barrels. The longest we get here is 28". Also note the slug barrel with rifle sights. I have yet to see one of these. ![]() |

About the rifled barrel, do you know if Baikal Canada can bring one in? Also, those boxes with the ladies on them, what are they? Russian films (looks like Lara Croft style poses)? BravoTango |

BravoTango, I was told that the rifled barrels will be in next year. The barrel in the picture may be a smoothbore one. As for the boxes with pictures of Lara Croft like ladies, I think the Russians are keeping them all for themselves ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

After having a better look at the picture of the semiautos on the rack, I just realized that the bottom two guns are not MP-153s. These are the "Becass Auto" shotguns made by Molot (another Russian manufacturer). The Becass is the main competitor of the MP-153 in that market. The deer barrel on the rack is probably for one of these guns. |

Man I love those camo models. I wish they would have been available when I bought mine. The boxes with the pretty chicks are fireworks I think? Toz - you have the 153 setup for turkey? |

Gary, I am ready for turkey season. My turkeyslayer MP-153 with 24" barrel Black synthetic stock X-tra Full choke I don't have a camo gun. The black polymer will do fine. |

HUNTING IN RUSSIA I found these pictures on a Russian website. I don't undestand Russian but I came up with explanations/interpretations. This hunter has bagged a Black Grouse (common in Europe) with a MP-153. I like the covered shotshell belt he is wearing. ![]() This bird is a Capercaillie (Tetrao Urugalus). It is the largest member of the grouse family. This one is a male. ![]() I could not identify the purple beast but it sure took a lot of MP-153 shotguns (with extended mags) to bring it down ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice little collection there Tozman,I need to get a gun that can handle steel shot,I have seen the Toz gas operated auto (nicely made gun to,a lot better made I feel than some guns costing twice as much) and need to take a good look at the Baikal, also the Baikal pump is an option.Actually, the guy who sells the Toz shotgun thinks they are a very good field gun,but told me that he actually thinks the Baikal MP 153 is a bit better and that would be his choice of the two guns, but I need to see both and make up my own mind. |
