Any thoughts on best chokes for a .410 SxS for shooting Quail behind a pointing dog & occasional close-in dove shoots?

Based on .020 being Full, I was thinking .005 & .015 or around 1/4 & 3/4.

Thanks in advance!

If they hold well for your dog, then 1/4-3/4 should work perfectly........

When I dove hunt with my .410 SxS, I use Mod/Full.

On chokes right now I am siting at .029 & .035 and Briley says .020 is Full - so that would make me Extra, Extra Full! These are 28 inch barrels.

Previously I was thinking .005 & .015 but now I am thinking of going to .008 & .015. This would be for some occasional Sporting Clays and some close up Quail using a pointing dog.

Whatever Browning uses for Mod and Full in their Citori. I've used IC/Mod, Full/Full, skeet/skeet, and several other combos in guns with choke tubes but kept coming back to Mod/Full as they produced the best usable patterns at the ranges I shot birds. Except for training birds, not many opportunities on wild birds are offered under 15 yards, even woodcock with pointing dogs tend to push the 20 yard mark for close shots.
