For upland hunting, the choice is almost always my 5 3/4 pound Franchi Veloce'.

My go to upland gun is my Merkel 1620 16ga. I take the others out a couple times a year but the Merkel gets the go almost always.

I like all my shotguns but, my older Remington 1100's and 870 Wingmasters are my favorites. They are fixed chokes and 2 3/4" only in 12 and 20 gauges. I've gotten into some waterfowling as of the last couple of seasons and I use newer Remingtons on them.

If I'm hunting, it's always my Mossberg 930 Field, unless I'm after turkey. Then it's my Remington 870 Express Super Mag. If I'm just out bummin' around the woods, then it's a Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 4 5/8" barrel. Neither of my shotguns are very heavy, but I don't know what they weigh.

Well, if I'm waterfowling I grab my Browning Gold Hunter 3.5 mag.

I just recently picked up a couple of SxS Ithacas one an old Flues double trigger 12 made in 1910.

The most recent one is an SKB Model 100 20 gauge I do believe it will be my new "go to gun" for everything except waterfowl!

The Gold Hunter and Flues weigh over 8 pounds each that sweet little SKB Gal only weighs about 6.3 pounds! I'm sure she will see a lot of use in the future. I actually can't wait till dove season and rabbits next fall!

for small game or trap my 20 gauge remington 870 youth (too small for me now)

for skeet and sometimes small game browning citori skeet gun (i use it for hunting birds even though it needs a tighter choke, which is fixed)

turkeys i use my new england arms single shot 10 gauge

deer i use my remington 7600 pump carbine 30-06

targets i use a marlin .17hmr or a marlin .22

Like plumberroy I am but a simple hillbilly.

My go to guns are both NEF pardners. A 10ga for geese, turkeys, and predators; and a 20ga for squirrels, rabbits, and upland birds.

Remington 870 12ga 28" for roosters, doves, ducks or other small game.

BPS 12ga 3.5 inch for waterfowl duties. Its probally going to be replaced with a Super Black Eagle II just to have a quality semi-auto.

Odds are I will get a BPS or a NEF Pardner 10 bore. Still one the fence about that.
