Have shot enough pigs in the last year and can say from practice that anything smaller than 1 buck is a poor choice for pigs. It was interesting to see that even 1 pellet size change can make the difference. But the weight of the projectile ever so small made a huge difference in stopping power and the ability to down game in one shot . It looked like the 1 buck broke more bone than what the 2 buck did by a long shot.
#2 lead shot is not remotely suitable.
#4 buck is okay for coyotes, but not for hogs.

#2 lead is comparatively dinky @ 0.150 in. Back in the day, good for geese, not good for predators, even diminutive species.
