Hi, Maggs01, I used 00 Buck from a distance of about 35 m. Boar is approximately 40 kg (88 Lb). Gun is Hatsan (Escort) pump action. Flashlight is Fenix L2T V2.0 but I didn't use flashlight because hasn't been dark yet.

I have gone 2 months for wild boar hunting but I have not done hunting. Finally last night I hunted first boar.

My Vermont buck taken 9/14. Old deer guessed at 6 or 7 years old, 6 points weighed 201 lbs. Biggest bodied deer I have shot so far.

says in that pic that the 3x4 scored Boone and Crockett. So how much did it score? Cause there is no way that that thing made minimum score. Just curious.

No way did it make the humane kill charts either. Who in their right mind would kill an 80 pound deer?? Ever wonder why when the real hunters go to the field there is no game out there? Ol' Prostreet Slaughterhouse Killer is wiping them all out.

So you field dress your 80 pound Bambi. How much meat was left? Bet you got at least two whole sandwiches out of it, LOL. Don't tell us it was for population control either.... Then you come here bragging about killing a HUGE 80 pound spike. And what a big game hunter you are.

What are you doing with all that hog meat, buying at the grocery store. I suppose you never had a corn or carrot field or just a couple of weekends to hunt in Argentina.

I killed this one in 2009, I was hunting from the ground with my son. My sister brought her step-daughter so we let them have the buddy stand. Shot him with my Winchester Ranger 120 at about 70 yards. We were sitting on a bluff and it was pretty thick down below. This guy came in and I had one small window to get him. I missed with the first shot, but it made him stop in his tracks. Then he backed up 2 steps and put his vitals right back in my window and the second shot was true. He never took another step. We hunt each year to put meat in the freezer, so I usually take very small, tender, delicious deer, but when a bruiser like this walks by ... shoot!

I killed this one in 2006, Winchester 120, of course. I've killed all my deer with my 12ga 120, I got it for Christmas when I was 15 ... 1986. While this deer doesn't have as many points as the 11-pt above, it scores higher. This 8-pt scores in at 150-0/8 net typical. That's pretty darn big for an 8 pointer!

First day was a deer and second was a coyote. Deer was shot at 45 yards and coyote was shot at a little over 30 yards. I was using a Remington 870 with 26" smoothbore and bead sight, 1 oz Remington rifled slugs. The deer ran maybe 10 yards and was done and coyote didn't go anywhere. The slug did quite a bit of damage on both animals.

Good bucks and good turkey BOWHUNTERCOP, bear aint too bad either. Just for the heck of it how much did the weigh for curiosity reasons, (judging bear in woods not wanting to come in to feed pile where there might be scale heights on trees nearby for judging size). From the mount the ears look wider than for body size. If hunting in the LP I would of shot him myself.

5pt from opener last year

who are you to judge what others shoot ,,,,if he wants to shoot 80lb deer so be it ,,,thy are fine eating at that size ,,if every hunter waited for a big buck a lot of guys would go with out many years in a row ,,,,I will always shoot the small ones first for a few reasons ,,if a doe and fawn walks out to me I will shoot the fawn ,first the doe has a better chance of making it threw the winter then the fawn by it self ,,,and the younger ones taste so much better ,,..I would rather shoot a young doe then a medium buck as the buck has a chance to grow and I get to eat a young doe ,,,whats not to like ,,if it is legal who cares what other shoot ...Dutch

The shot was only 90 yards or so and it went straight down without a flinch. Horn length is 13.25 inches long.
