Would be nice if Krieghoff put some info on the gun on its website. MAJ

Dennis--what does that gun cost?

More than $18k ? A lady can get a lot of gun for less than 4k and have it properly fitted to her rather than trying to fit herself to an off-the-shelf gun

I am not sure what the total price is but I would assume it would not cost anymore than regular K-20 Parcours with a premium added for engraving pattern chosen. While I agree that pretty much any reputable gun can be fitted to a female shooter, I think, this is simply Krieghoff's answer to all those "lady" shotguns that are popping up on the market from Fabarm (Syren), Beretta (Vittoria), Zoli (Bella), etc.

I shouldered one at the Dallas Safari Club convention last Thursday. MSRP is a hair under $12K. It is a very nice gun and comes to the shoulder easily. I think Kreighoff did a wonderful job in the design of this gun; I'd love to shoot it. It is not the typical Kreighoff plank, and I suspect there was an Italian somewhere on the design team. I don't particularly love 20 gauge guns, but if this gun was a 12 gauge, I'd be figuring ourt what I could sell or steal to buy one. Mary Ann

I have shot the Victoria K-20.. If cost is not an issue, then buy the gun. the stock fits women perfectly. I have tried the Syren(didn't fit me at all and I tried it with John Woolley). I then tired the Zoli Bella. That was pretty good, but would need some "tweaking" to be 100%. I put the Victoria up and it was PERFECT. I am 5'8".

They are now making the Viictoria for the Parcours.

Otherwise, get a Beretta and get Jim Greenwood to make a Pattern stock for your wife.

"Otherwise, get a Beretta and get Jim Greenwood to make a Pattern stock for your wife." I'm confused, wife can't ask Jim Greenwood herself? MAJ

I'm also concerned if Jim will do business with unescorted divorcees, widows and, of course, us old single women. As Billie Holiday sang, "Mama may have, and papa may have, but god bless the child who's got his [her] own." MAJ

They sure did. They ripped off Syren's stock design, same as Zoli and so did Beretta. But they took it a step further and ripped off Beretta's roman goddess theme too while they were at it. Vittoria / Victoria; Eh, what's the difference nobody will ever know? We'll just spell it differently

12 GRAND $$!! That's before you start adding stuff to it right? HOLY COW, I can buy a whole lot of ammo for the difference of that and a top tier Syren with upgraded wood to boot.

And what's the Warranty on that pricey Kreighoff again? 5 years? Compared to a Lifetime warranty on the Guerini/Syren? Nah, we're good. My wife loves her Syren Tempio! And thinks the action on the K looks like a "brick on a stick" which I had to laugh about. Sounds like a Twitter hashtag or something. :D

Why of course they ripped off Syren, as did the ones you mention and Blaser as well. As a result, it isn't a big old German plank of wood. Pretty=Italian, yes? And the price? You can buy two Syrens and still have change in your pocket for ammo, which is why I have owned a number of Syrens; and I'm currently working forming a close personal relationship with the N2. Plus the Victoria only comes in 20 gauge. MAJ

PS: It has been mentioned before on SGW that I may be considered a fan of CG/Syren guns.

Oh wow, I didn't know that.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen guys try to push their wives, daughters, whomever into subgauges with the mindset that they can't shoot 12g. That's feels so messed up to me.

With a proper fitting gun, and the right ammo (7/8oz light target loads) anyone can shoot a 12g. My wife can attest to that. Or better yet, I've seen petite teenage girls shooting 12g competitions with Syren's at Nationals and kicking butt doing it too! I guess that poo-poos the whole "she can't handle a 12g" mindset huh? Wonder if that's the thinking on the Victoria and why it's only available in a 20?

The Syren Tempio Sporter comes in 12/20/28 and .410 in a combo I think. That's about as versatile as you can get. We have the adjustable stock option on the 12g Syren which is awesome.
