This past Saturday marked a milestone in my shooting career.
I shot my Gazillionth round of Skeet.
Now what?

I believe I've invented a new game that can be played on a Skeet layout,
A single and a pair on all stations except 4 and 8.
Except stations 1 and 7, all true pairs are taken in reverse order.

Two pairs at station 8,
High 8 on report after shooting Low 8 coming over your shoulder.
Low 8 on report after shooting high 8 coming over your shoulder.

Some interesting new angles on targets you've seen a Gazillion times.

#1, 4, 7 and 8 are existing stations.
#2 is 1/3 the distance between 4 and 1
#6 is 1/3 the distance between 4 and 7

#3 in the middle of 2 & 8
#5 in the middle of 6 & 8

cool, but your late to the game. been doing similar things like that for decades.(remember, im the evil non conforming nssa shooter on the internet, that promotes other types of fun not requiring fees and dues.)

try skeet on a trap overlay field
1 remains the same.
go to trap sidewalks for 2,3,4,5,6 on the 18or 19yd line.
7 and 8 remain the same.

Cool idea. For a challenge, start shooting International and get some Pepto, because you will be filled to the gills with humble pie ;-)

It is great we can shoot so many different ways. A friendly group, and so much fun. Love it

We used to shoot a game we called "scrap" which was a combination of skeet and trap.

Looks like a pretty game. You have to do something to keep it interesting.

My shooting buddies and I have started shooting "Teeks". Just Skeet, but everything is backwards. We're also shooting international pattern skeet, just to change things up.

I'll have to try your triangle game. See how that works with the guys.

After a couple of weeks of play we've revised the shots.
We're no longer taking singles at 1 and 7. Instead taking 2 pairs at station 4, High/Low then Low/High.
All other pairs are now Shooters choice, take them however you prefer.
CAUTION!! Take reverse pairs at stations 1 and 7 at your (or your guns) own peril.
